Ok, I know that the weather is absolutely beautiful outside...so that is part of the problem. I also don't get a spring break because I'm teaching 2 courses back to back online...and that is part of the problem. But for the life of me, I'm having the hardest time focusing on school stuff: grading the stuff that I still have to finish for the last course, and getting information/materials ready for the next one. I'd much rather be doing all kinds of other things; including cleaning out my garage, closets, painting the closet in the nursery, working outside on the yard....
I've also gotten back into the blog/FRUA addiction.
I need help! :-)

No help here - I'm still hooked on blogs and I have major spring fever!! Good luck staying focused!
Carolynn- I know how you feel it is beautiful here too... school is tough! This week all our local schools are on Spring Break, nice timing for the kids. I think you need to get those papers graded.... you definitely don't want that hanging ove ryour head if you should get the call! :-) But then again, that would be motivating too...but maybe more distracting. lol!
So is that what you call it...an addiction? hmmm, I guess I have that problem too then. We should have a meeting and stand and confess it to the group! Ha.
It is spring. That is the real truth about it. It is the time of year to be enjoying the outside. I hope you can get all those things done so that you can feel good about being excited. Steady plodding...one thing at a time.
One thing that helps me is timing myself. Set the timer for an hour and try to grade as much as you can in that hour. Then reward yourself with something you WANT to do. It works for me...hopefully for you too.

Oh I have that addiction too. Some days FRUA makes it hard to stay positive but it is a great resource. I check for new post a few times a day, hehe. My work has suffered some lately. Let's face it we are distracted for a good reason.
I think it is probably just as well, that though I joined FRUA specifically for the conversation group, I somehow never managed to join it! I have enough "conversations" elsewhere, though!
I am getting back into the "Waiting Children" addiction...which is crazy as I am having enough problems at the moment with the ones I have!
