Last night we decided to go out to dinner at the Bar-B-Q place, Bandanas, where our “daughter-in-love” Bri just started working. Pictures from our dinner at Bandanas:
This morning it was rainy and chilly here—so Miss K and I stayed inside and played with Play-doh and painted her toes pink:
Perhaps because it is such a gloomy morning here today, I thought I would finish posting the vacation pictures. Miss K now loves to be in the water—a great accomplishment after just a couple of weeks!
Now that school has started for me, I look back and realize that I haven’t posted that much for the past summer. Because I just spent the afternoon reading essays, I thought that instead of writing that I’d share a few pictures that perhaps sum up what we’ve been doing.
One of the big excursions was to the zoo in Kansas City. Miss K and I rode a camel:
She also got to be “up close and personal” with the lions:

She also got to feed some deer and pet some sheep:
We also got to spend a little over a week at the lake. We had fun just hanging out and relaxing:
We also ate—and had fun fixing dinner together:
We also had a great time playing in the lake—but I’ll save that for a separate post!
